Hi!

Nice to Meet you

HEY THERE TRAVEL-LOVERS, ADVENTURE-SEEKERS, AND WANDERLUSTERS,

My name is Denise. I recently quit my 9 to 5 job and moved to the other side of the world to South Korea. I have always had a passion for travel, cultures, and languages. In 2015 I embarked on my biggest journey yet – I moved to Singapore for one year as an exchange student and have been fascinated by and completely in love with South East Asia ever since. My main goal of traveling is to explore different cultures, learn about traditions, and have conversations with people from all over the world. And I must say, I have met some great people along the way. People I now consider some of my closest friends. My first solo travels weren’t that great and I honestly thought solo traveling just wasn’t for me. I didn’t know what to do, was shy to talk to strangers, and just felt completely alone. But fast forward 4 years later and I have been traveling by myself to so many countries and absolutely love it! I am so happy that I tried it again after not liking it the first time. It’s such a great way of traveling which at the same time gives you the opportunity to do whatever you want whenever you want to do it. You don’t need to explain or ask anyone when you want to get up in the morning, or if you just want to chill by the pool for a day.

I have only been to 29 countries up to now and there is still so much more to explore and I am beyond excited to explore more of this beautiful planet and meet more amazing people all over.

I hope that I can encourage some of you to travel to places I am writing about, or at least help you with your preparations for your travels. If there is anything you want to know about places I have been to, please feel free to reach out either via the contact form or by leaving a comment under one of my posts. I am entirely thankful for every one of you who is visiting my blog and leaves with some useful information!
