Where to eat Healthy Western Breakfast in Da Nang, Vietnam

While spending 2 weeks in Vietnam, I was able to check out some of the cute cafés for healthy and Western Breakfast in Da Nang that the city has to offer.
Vietnam is known for its cafe and coffee culture and you will be able to find many big and chic cafés all over the bigger cities like Ho Chi Minh, Hanoi, Hoi An, or Da Nang. There is always a lot of thought put into these places and I enjoyed spending my time there as well as looking at the beautifully chosen interior.

If you have Da Nang on your travel list in Vietnam, I want to introduce you to 5 cafés that I enjoyed going to whenever I was craving delicious Western Breakfast in Da Nang. I also included a great café in Hoi An (which is a 40-minute ride from Da Nang).

The Hideout Cafe

Address: 72 24Nguyễn Văn Thoại, Bắc Mỹ Phú, Ngũ Hành Sơn, Đà Nẵng 550000, Vietnam

Opening Hours: every day from 8 am until 9 pm

One of my favorite cafés in Da Nang was The Hideout Café. It is a chill place perfect for doing some work or just having breakfast or lunch. You’ll probably find many people working on their notebooks while enjoying a drink or snack. The place also offers free wifi which works quite well even if there are a lot of people using their tablets/notebooks.
Apart from a very delicious breakfast, they also offer lunch/dinner options such as customizable poke bowls and a few Vietnamese food options.
The prices are very affordable. I paid 60,000 VND (2,50 Euro) for a smoothie bowl which was very delicious with fresh tropical fruits.

BreadnSalt Café

Address: 84 Hoàng Kế Viêm, Bắc Mỹ Phú, Ngũ Hành Sơn, Đà Nẵng 550000, Vietnam

Opening Hours: every day from 8 am until 5 pm

BreadnSalt Café is another great location to either do some work or relax while enjoying some delicious breakfast or lunch. I went here twice and got a smoothie bowl (95,000 VND = 4 EUR) as well as a pancake breakfast (105,000 VND = 4,40 EUR). Both of which were very delicious and the prices were more than affordable.
Apart from the delicious food, they also offer a variety of fresh juices and signature drinks.

iVEGAN DANANG CAFE

Address: Lô 31 An Thượng 4, Bắc Mỹ Phú, Ngũ Hành Sơn, Đà Nẵng 550000, Vietnam

Opening Hours: every day from 8 am until 9 pm

iVegan restaurant offers a variety of healthy and vegan food options both for breakfast as well as lunch/dinner. They combined this with a very eco-friendly environment for everyone to enjoy. I decided to try their vegan protein pancakes with maple syrup and fruits on the side (80,000 VND = 3,40 EUR) as well as a Kombucha (75,000 VND = 3,20 EUR).
They already have a restaurant in Hanoi since 2020 and recently also opened this branch in Da Nang.

Roots Plant-based Cafe

Address: 01 An Thượng 32, Bắc Mỹ Phú, Ngũ Hành Sơn, Đà Nẵng 55000, Vietnam

Roots Plant-Based Café in Da Nang offers many healthy and vegan options for affordable prices. As you might have guessed, I also tried their smoothie bowl which was very delicious and cost 65,000 VND (2,70 EUR). From all the places I have visited, they seemed to have the biggest variety of smoothie bowls. In addition to the breakfast bowls, they also have other vegan lunch items such as sustainable plant meat burgers, buddha bowls, as well as wholegrain toasts/sandwiches.

I found this place online while doing research on things to do and eat in Hoi An. And since Hoi An was only a 40-minute ride from Da Nang, I decided to have my breakfast there. I ordered a smoothie bowl with fresh tropical fruits and coconut milk that was more than delicious and actually my favorite breakfast throughout my time in Vietnam. The smoothie bowl, called tropical moment, cost me 90,000 VND (3,75 EUR).
Nourish Eatery also had a beautiful interior design I was absolutely in love with. And apart from breakfast/lunch options, this place also has a Yoga/Pilates Studio in the back where you can book courses (the Instagram to check out the courses is: mintstudiohoian).
